

The Hideaway nestles into the foothills of the Cairngorms Naional Park, built of traditional granite stone, hand built by the owner over a 4 year period, features 18 douglas fir truses providing an inspiring environment for guests with the open plan layout: the family room, kitchen and dining area.
The adjoining Bothy sleeps 2 adults and a child, included in the rental cost. The house sleeps 13 adults +2 children comfortably. Please contact us for additional child sleeping arrangements

The large U shaped house has three bedrooms downstairs on the ground floor, one with an ensuite bathroom with jacuzzi spa tub and shower, the other main bedroom has a supering 4 poster bed with an adjoining ensuite with shower. The main family bathroom is on the level and suited to wheelchair users. Upstairs there is a king bed on the mezzanine, 2 further double beds at the far end of the adjoining area divided by the staircase. A child sofa bed is located in this large family area too. The adjoining Bothy has an open plan layout with its own separate kitchen, island, tv lounge, shower room. Sleeps 2 adults in 1 bedroom mezzanine with a small double sofa bed for an adult or two small children. We offer guests use of the hot tub and gym on site. This comes at an extra charge. Please ask for details. The gym is maintained in Summer months, hot tub all year subject to weather conditions as it is in an exposed area of the garden with fabulous views over the unspoiled Donside valley.
You are welcome to park freely in the area around the Hideaway. You will need a car to explore the area. In January and February, we recommend you have all,weather tyres., however roads are normally cleared if we have snow.
